Aloha! Kualapuu School is in the process of planning and visioning what a new and upgraded school campus might look like 20 years from now. As part of this process, we would like to invite you, along with our Core Committee, to a Design Workshop on Thursday, May 18th, 3:30-5:30pm, at the Kualapuu School Cafeteria. In this process, you have an opportunity to be an “architect” to design a new Kualapuu Campus. There will be 3 teams, each with a mixture of teachers, administrators, parents and community representatives. Each team will be given a site plan and blocks representing the new buildings on campus. You will place the buildings on the site and determine the best location. Our design consultants, G70, will have an architect or planner assigned to each group to serve as a guide in the process. At the conclusion of the exercise, each team will be asked to present their plan to the whole group. Please join us in this exciting visioning process!
