Dear Parent or Guardian,

In Spring 2023, our school will participate in an ʻOhana Survey. Parents/guardians of students at our school are invited to complete the survey online. The survey will ask questions about your experience with our school as well as our staff, programs and activities. Topics include student support, safety, satisfaction, learning, involvement, and Hawaiian culture.

The results will provide our school and community with valuable information that will help us understand how we are meeting the needs of our families. Also, the survey will pinpoint areas for improvement as we seek to provide the best care and education for our haumāna.
We request that you use this link to complete the survey by May 12, 2023: https://bit.ly/3JuiJ2p

More information:
  • The survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
  • Your responses will be anonymous.
  • Findings by total group, school, and grade will be presented in a final report. No individual participant data will be reported.
  • Participation is voluntary and you may skip items if you choose.
  • After completing the survey, you will be asked to provide your contact information on a follow-up form. This is for tracking purposes only and remains separate from the ʻOhana Survey; your survey answers will not be linked to your contact information. Your school will use the follow-up form to determine who has not yet responded so that they may receive reminder notifications to complete the survey.

The value of a survey of this kind depends on the number of ʻohana who decide to participate. Mahalo nui for your consideration and support.   Please direct your questions to Liezl Houglum, Kamehameha Schools: (808) 534-8024 or [email protected].
