Aloha Families – Hope you are enjoying the long holiday, and remembering our family, friends, veterans who have passed on this Memorial Day weekend.   We also congratulate our Molokai High School Class of 2020 on their graduation – This was a memorable graduation and they visited Kualapuu School and the other elementary schools after their ceremony. 
This the LAST week of distance learning.  Thank you to our instructional staff for shifting gears to continue to provide meaningful learning activities for our children.  Also, a special thanks to your parents and caregivers who supported your children in their long-distance learning activities.  You are truly your child’s first teachers.  Here are the event for this week:

Packet Pick Up, Drop Off-Library books, Purchase Yearbooks:   Cafeteria, 9:00-10:00
Caution:  Maui County will be doing road repair during this time.  Please follow the signs to get to the school campus.  Parking for visitors and staff will be limited.  The fire road on the side of the cafeteria will be open for Staff and Visitor use.  Please be patient for the temporary inconvenience. 
 
School Office will be open daily, 8:00-3:00pm  (But the school campus is still closed.)
The school office will be open for student registration activities.  Only 1 member per household may come on campus.  Please wash your hands and wear your face masks before entering the office.  Note: You may see a lot of activity as teachers are closing and clearing their rooms for the end of the school year.  Custodians are cleaning the facilities.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Monday, June 1st:  9-12pm:  Cafeteria–DROP OFF LOANED COMPUTERS AND PICK UP STUDENT SUPPLIES AND PERSONAL ITEMS
  • If you haven’t already done so, please come to the school to pick up your child’s personal supplies. 
  • Return all Chromebooks/Tablets loaned to you by the school.
  • 6th Grade Families may drop off Makana bags for classmates.  (A separate email was sent to 6th grade families)  Contact Staff Member Roberta Delos Reyes if you have questions)
  • Donated Used Chromebooks from Maui County to be given out at this time.  You must return to school loaned computer to receive the donated computer.  (A separate email will be sent to the 32 families who will be receiving the Donated Chromebooks.)
