SUBJECT: Upcoming Student Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Survey, Grades 3 – 12
Dear Kualapu’u Families,
It is our goal at Kualapu’u School to ensure that every student is safe and supported as they transition back to school. We thank you for being our cherished partners as we work together to educate our students this school year. We value the input of our students as they are important partners in the work to improve the overall school experience and support their needs.
In order to learn more about student experiences, we will be asking for your child’s feedback via an online survey during school at three points this school year: fall, winter, and spring. The survey shouldn’t take more than 20-30 minutes to complete.
We are asking that all of our students participate in the surveys, as their feedback will provide invaluable insights into their experiences and how to improve and adapt our school to their needs. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether.
The survey content will ask students to self reflect on their own social emotional learning skills, like self-management and self-efficacy. Please notify us if you would like your child to opt out of taking the surveys by responding to this email with your child’s name.
