Aloha Families – After a 2 year absence because of covid, we are SO EXCITED to share that The Pacific Whale Foundation is again sponsoring a Whale Watch for our students on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.  Hard copy permission forms will be sent out this week.   There are 4 trips scheduled, with each tour lasting about 2-3 hours (from pick up to drop off at school).  Attached is an electronic copy for your review.  PLEASE RETURN THE PERMISSION FORMS THIS WEEK, by March 8th so we do not have to remind students or chase down forms when we return from school on March 20th.

Also, we will need some parent volunteers and chaperones.  Because space is limited, we can take only a limited number of parent volunteers (2 per homeroom).  Selection and priority of volunteers will be based on skills and expertise.  We are looking for parents who are First Aide/CPR certified, First Responders, Fire, Life Guard Certified, Doctors, Nurses, Police/Law Enforcement.

Volunteers, in addition to accompanying their own child, must be willing to assist with other children.
Volunteers may be required to ride the bus to/from with the children if needed.

Please fill out the google form if you are interested and able to help with the Whale Watch.  Deadline to submit your name to volunteer is Wednesday, March 15th.  Volunteers will be notified by Monday, March 20th.
