Aloha Molokai ‘Ohana,

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of generosity toward the recovery of our Lahaina school communities. Molokai is part of the Canoe Complex which includes schools from Lānaʻi, Hāna, and Lahaina. Within these school communities we all share a strong sense of community and connection. Likewise, many of us have or know families, friends, or colleagues in Lahaina and are seeking ways to kōkua. If you want to kōkua you can donate any household items such as blankets, towels, toiletries, clothing, at the following school locations from Monday through Fridays between 8:00 am to 2:00 pm:

  • Maunaloa ES Office, Kilohana ES Office, Kaunakakai ES Office, Kualapuu ES Cafeteria, and Molokai HS & MS Library
Please note that the schools will not be accepting any monetary donations at the drop off sites. However, we have partnered with the Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation to accept monetary donations in support of the Maui schools who are impacted by the devastating wildfires. You can personally make monetary donations at pshf.org/donations-pageMonetary donations are encouraged over non-financial donations from outside of Maui because funds can be used immediately to purchase what is needed and do not require additional labor for sorting, shipping, transporting, warehousing and distributing donated goods.
All household and monetary donations will continually be collected until Friday, September 1, 2023 and will be dedicated solely to help our Maui students, staff and schools recover from this unimaginable tragedy.

Mahalo for your support of our school communities on all islands.

Me ke aloha,
Molokai Complex
