HO’OKAKO’O CORPORATION & LOCAL ADVISORY PANEL (LAP)
As a Public Conversion Charter School, Kualapu’u School is a state, public school following all state and federal regulations. Our State School Board is the State Board of Education. Our local School Board is the Ho’okako’o Board of Directors. This is a non‐ profit organization made up of business, community and educational members. On the school level, we have theKualapu’u School Local Advisory Panel. The LAP’s role is to advise Ho’okako’o and the school principal on school policy and issues. The LAP is made of representatives from parents, community teachers, support staff, student council and administration.
